Rishiri Island is located in the north corner of Hokkaido, its approximately 100 minutes ferry ride from Wakanai city, which is around 5 hours and 40 minutes drive from main city of Hokkaido, Sapporo. The flights from Chitose to Rishiri airport depends on seasonal, however there are daily flights to and fro from Okadama Airport.
